Parent Contact {FREEBIE}

Hey everyone!

I've been a blogging slacker the last few days. Partially because I didn't have anything to write about, partially because I've been obsessing over the olympics. Between gymnastics and track and field I keep waking my poor husband up like "This is history! You don't want to miss this." He's like "Courtney, not every event is history". But he did get up to watch Oscar Pistorius run the 400 semis. A double amputee? Amazing.

Okay sorry. Olympic rant over. Scroll on for free stuff...

I have a new teaching partner this year. She's coming from 1st to 5th! Big jump. We've meet a few times this summer trying to get on the same page for the upcoming school year. We decided to use one binder to document parent phone calls. We're going to make them together, and we share students so it made sense. We decided what we wanted it to be set up like, and I made it! She purchased a set of A-Z dividers and we're going to have a contact page for each student. We make a lot of phone calls. However, not everyone does, so I made a separate page that allows you to document phone calls for multiple students on one page.

Was that the worst description ever? Sorry. I'm tired. Click the image to download from my TN store so you can see what I'm rambling about ... :)

Then I was on a roll with making binder covers (I mean, the bunting is adorable, right?!) so I whipped up a couple for TBT meetings. But, since they're not called TBT meetings everywhere, I included options for "Team Meetings". They're free and on my Teacher's Notebook store too!

School is right around the corner. I hope everyone is enjoying their last bits and pieces of summer :)

This no-cable deal during the Olympics is a killer! I am so jealous of everyone...I have to go to my classroom just to watch my favorite events (not that I don't have work to do there anyway). Thanks for stopping by my blog and I'll be looking forward to many more great ideas from you!
